Chopsticks: the Asian Comedy

More Rebuttal Time!

Good for you, I’m glad you root for the malicious girl who has talent but still chooses to degrade herself and sleep the director. Kudos to you.

Megan Hilty is flawless, Ivy Lynn is not.

‘Scuse me, nobody’s perfect. And Ivy’s desperate for a part. Ten years in the chorus makes for a whole lot of bitter. Heck, just two years of nothing makes for a whole lot of bitter! (Believe me, I know. That would be me!) Also, Ivy’s got her own set of issues about acceptance with her mother seemingly always on her case on stuff like playing a lead and doesn’t seem to give a crap about her like in that scene about the callbacks. She’s not perfect, but I honestly think she’s gonna have a way more interesting plot line to follow, AND I really think she’d pull some more Marilyn than Karen.

But, despite all I said, to each their own. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and here is mine.
